December 14/2015 3 Quick Cards

With so few days left before Christmas the projects we made were perfect for our last minute preparations.  They included a card, a few tags and a card just the right size to hold a gift card.

November 15, 16/2015 It's a Blue Christmas

Well... the cards we made were blue!  But we had a lot of fun making them.  All the cards were Night of Navy, white and either silver or gray accents.

November 9/15 3 Quick Cards

3 Quick cards dressed up with Designer paper, a wee bit of glitter and and an embossing folder.  Quick and easy but fun to make and give!

October 31 and November 1/2015 4 Cards and DSP

By popular demand, the Designer Series Paper this month was ‘Winter Wonderland’ Specialty paper. Yes it’s Christmassy paper with metallic ink on one side of each paper and two sheets with gold foil as part of the design, but totally suitable for December birthdays or masculine cards.

It’s hard to see in the photo, but the ‘Joyful Christmas Wishes' card was glittery around the opening and under the houses.  ‘Warm Wishes’ when opened was actually a Happy Birthday card – with optional Christmas Greetings – as did the ‘Happy Birthday Tree card’. The medallion on the ‘Silent NIght’ card is from the Delicate Ornament thinlit dies (Holiday Mini Catalogue).

         

         

October 17,18/2015 It’s Christmas in October

Yes, another buffet of Christmas cards and the last one this year.  A few cards had a number of steps so took a bit of time to create but everyone loved the results.  Some cards were cute and some elegant – I even slipped in a punchy card!!  The last card is a label swing card, the outside is snowflakes and snowflake designer paper and on the inside is… a snow family of course!!

The next class of six Christmas cards will be ‘A Blue Christmas’ on November 15 in Devon and November 16 in Edmonton. (There are only 4 openings left in Devon at the 5:00 class.) Cost will be $20.

October 5/15 3 Quick Cards

Class was early this month in the Devon Library due to Thanksgiving. 

A pretty frame, a bright and cheery flower and some fall colours made up the 3 very Quick cards this month.  Super simple but very pretty.

 

         

 

                

September 14/2015 3 Quick Cards

This month we used a little bit of washi tape and die cutting, some collage work inside a rectangular mask and a die cut window card to make the three cards.  They weren’t really all that quick but turned out really nice.

          

September 13/2015 4 Cards & DSP

This month we used the beautiful ‘Timeless Elegance’ Designer Series Paper.  I love neutrals and this black and white paper is gorgeous!  We ruffled some ribbon, used the brayer and sponge daubers to add a bit of colour, cut ‘outside the lines’ and made an easy paper flower to use as an embellishment.

     

              

August 29,30/2015 Now It’s Christmas in August!

Another fun day of stamping the cards that you choose in the quantities that you want.  Some elegant and some cute, some quick & easy and some that took a little more time.

August 10/2015 3 Quick Cards

Just one more card with the Thinlit Word dies (well just one this month!).  And the butterfly die is so pretty especially dressed up with some coloured pearls.  Lastly focusing on the designer paper for You Make me Smile with additional splats of color!
